Blur recently released their first album in 12 years, The Magic Whip. I’ve listened to it every day since it was released, and needless to say it’s been a pleasure to wrap my ears around it. Thank god for the return of Graham Coxon. He truly has one of the most unique guitar sounds of the last twenty years and it stands out on this offering.
I’m lucky enough to have a dad that loves Blur, so was first introduced to them through their record The Great Escape, which continues to get an absolute flogging. I’m pretty sure my dad’s original CD is scratched beyond belief from it’s never-ending turns in the stereo.
Anyway, the band has released a ‘making of’ documentary for their latest record. Check it out below.
